The Indian government has disbursed 2,874.71 crore rupees ($388m) to beneficiaries of its production-linked incentive scheme. The majority of companies, from eight sectors including electronics, telecoms and pharma, have received funds from the scheme, set up in 2020, primarily to enhance domestic manufacturing capacity and boost exports.
